NICU Baby Diary is built with privacy as the top priority. All your data is stored locally on your device. We don't collect, transmit, or store any of it on our servers.

What we don't collect

We have no access to, and never collect or transmit, any of the following: your baby's personal or medical details, photos you take or store, diary entries or health tracking data, your device information or usage analytics, your location, or any other personal information.

What's stored on your device

The app keeps everything locally, including:

• Your baby's profile: name, date of birth, gender, birth details, photos
• Growth data: weight, length, head circumference
• Feeding, breathing and sleeping details
• Care notes, activities, special visits, and questions for your care team
• App settings and export history

How we handle it

Everything is saved using your device's secure local storage. No data is transmitted to our servers or to any third party, and no internet connection is required for the app's core features. We have no access to your data at any time.

Permissions we ask for

Exporting & sharing

You can export your diary as a PDF or Excel file, saved locally to your device. Sharing an export with your baby's healthcare team, or anyone else, is entirely your choice. We never see or receive a copy.

Deleting your data

You're in control at all times. Delete individual entries, photos or whole baby profiles from within the app, or remove everything by uninstalling it. Since nothing lives on a server, deletion is immediate and permanent.

No third parties

We don't use analytics services, advertising networks, or any other third-party service that collects or receives your data. The app only uses standard device features (camera, file system), handled entirely by your device's operating system.

Children's privacy

NICU Baby Diary is designed for use by parents and caregivers, not by children. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. While the app tracks information about babies, it's operated by adults, and all data stays under the control of the parent or caregiver using it.
